PA Department of Health
The Department of Health has the duty and power to protect the health of the people. It has authority to enforce all statutes pertaining to public health for the prevention and suppression of disease and injury. The Department also works closely with local health agencies in cities, counties and municipalities.
Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council (PEHSC)
The mission of the Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council is to promote the coordinated development and evaluation of Emergency Medical Services in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Bucks County
Emergency Health Services strives to promote understanding, education and accessibility to emergency services in the Bucks County community.
Eastern Pennsylvania EMS Council
It is a not-for-profit entity established under Commonwealth of Pennsylvania legislation to act as a local regulatory body that assists the Department of Health with local EMS organizations throughout the six county EMS region.
EHSF Council
The Emergency Health Services Federation, Inc., serves as the leader of emergency health services development in the southcentral Pennsylvania region.
EMMCO West, Inc.
EMMCO West, Inc. is Northwestern Pennsylvania's regional Emergency Medical Services Office.  EMMCO West serves providers in Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango, & Warren Counties.

A.R.E.A. Services, Inc. was developed on April 10th of 1989' by its owners, the Rumberger family.  In April of 1989', Bernie Rumberger's dream of serving his community became a reality.

Dalmatia Ambulance
Dalmatia Area Ambulance League proudly protects approx. 10,000 people living in an area of 70 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural/residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Danville Ambulance

Incorporated March of 1966
D.H.&L. Ambulance League is proud to provide Basic and Advanced Life Support to the Residents of Selinsgrove and the surrounding area.
Elysburg Fire Department
In 1919 the Elysburg fire Co. No. 1 became a chartered organization. They cover Elysburg and surrounding areas.
Evangelical Hospital Pre-Hospital Services
In 1986, Evangelical provided the sole medic unit in the area with five employees and one vehicle. Now Evangelical employs 74 people in the unit and answers more than 7,000 calls per year. The Pre-Hospital Services Department also helps community ambulance companies with staffing. With volunteerism declining, several local ambulance companies found it difficult to maintain 24-hour coverage, which could prolong response time to emergencies.
Geisinger Life Flight
Life Flight® is a regional helicopter service designed to provide critically ill or injured patients rapid access to advanced life support care and rapid transportation to critical care facilities.
 
Kulpmont Fire Department
The West End Fire Association No. 2, established in 1914, is located at 1265 Maple Street in the West End District. The Kulpmont Fire Company No. 1, established in 1907, is located at 11 North Eight Street in the East End District. Each Station has a separate designator with the West End Fire Association No. 2 being Station  210 and the Kulpmont Fire Company No. 1 as Station 220.  
Mt. Carmel Area Rescue Squad
Located at 2nd & Walnut Sts. Mt. Carmel, the Mt. Carmel Area Rescue Squad is the lead agency providing Fire-Rescue Services to Mt. Carmel, Mt Carmel Twp, Marion Hts. and Conygham Twp. The all volunteer Squad is solely funded by citizens contributions.  
New Berlin Fire Comapany Ambulance
The New Berlin Fire Company No. 1, Inc. is contracted to provide Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to the Borough of New Berlin and half of Limestone Township in southern Union County (central Pennsylvania).

The NWS provides weather warnings and watches organized by type, timing and location. The site also includes education and outreach materials and hosts the NWS storm Ready program.

The website for EMS magazine is one of the most comprehensive up-to-date resources for disaster news coverage and training information for EMS personnel.
EMS Live
This weekly online radio show feature EMS-related news from around he world, delivers interviews with industry experts and allows listeners to send in questions via email or live chat.

This organization is in contact with our state congressmen and senators and works for all EMS services whether members or not. They are working on plans to get us more reimbursement from MA at the present time. This is a worthwhile group to support and key to the survival and success of EMS in Pa.
