The following information is regarding a critical issue for all EMS providers.  The revised EMS Act (EMS Systems Act) has been formerly introduced in both the PA House of Representatives and the Senate.  NOW is a critical time for our EMS voices to be heard by state elected officials.  Educate your elected officials regarding the revised EMS Act.

If there was a time to contact your local state legislator or senator, NOW is the time.  There is only 7 working days to get the EMS Act through both the PA House and Senate.  Yesterday and now today, the house and senate have formerly introduced the revised EMS to the floor for consideration.  The bill will need to be read on 3 separate occasions and then voted on.  With passage of the bill in both the house and senate it will move to the Governor's office for his signature.

We're almost there!

We've all invested a lot of time and resources towards this new EMS Act. There have been 55 town hall meetings throughout the state.  Let your state elected officials know your thoughts on the EMS Act revision.  Our future EMS system rests within this EMS Act.

The bill numbers are:   SB 1420 (Senate) & HB 2686 (House) EMS Systems Act

You can download either of the bills on our website, www.emmco.org (Breaking News)

Please let your EMS Voices be heard by our elected officials!
