Columbia County was the recipient of an AED Unit funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Rural Access to Emergency Devices Grant Program sponsored by the Office of Rural Health, Rural Health Outreach Grant Program.  The AED was presented to the County at the August 7, 2008, Commissioner Meeting.  The County plans to place the unit in the Courthouse Annex – where it will be accessible to Children and Youth Services and the Department of Public Safety.
