The PA Department of Health has officially released a DRAFT copy of the Rules and Regulations to Pennsylvania's EMS Act 37. Please take some time to review these "draft" rules and regulations.

The comment period is open through November 29, 2011. If you wish to have comments forwarded to the PA Department of Health, Bureau of EMS, please submit them (in writing) to rgibbons@sehsc.org for compilation and submission to the Bureau. Following the comment period, there will be a review of the comments and then a hearing. If the regulations are approved at the hearing, the final regulations will be published in the PA Bulletin and provisions of Act 37 will take effect 180 days from the final date of publication.
